Apple Pay Refund Scammer

Good thing we’re moving away from carrying cash and cards to buy goods and services from local merchants!?!

I know this ain’t gambling related, but still an interesting new scam. Feigning a payment issue with Apple Pay to get access to the merchant’s access and ability to issue refunds. This is along the lines of self checkout kiosks at grocery stores where people would slip an item or two into their bag without scanning it.

Just shows the more “advanced” society gets, the easier it is for low life scammers to evolve their ability to steal!
